Louise Sumner

With many years of experience and numerous awards under her belt, Louise Sumner is a seasoned professional Photographer.
Her focus most recently has been the sensual nature of plants in and around her environment through a combination of colour and form using the medium of photographic digital art.
Her first exhibition was at the age of 21 at the Institute of Contemporary Art London which was sponsored by Paul Smith, British menswear designer and Mont Blanc.

Louise Sumner is a graduate of Trent University, Nottingham. She commenced working for architects and planners as a professional photographer and then moved to Chicago where she was involved with an animation production company.

After returning to the UK she developed a successful studio business in Plymouth which commenced in 2000 and still continues to create a range of traditional portraiture and digital art.

She is a judge for The Societies of Photographers for their International Photographic competition held annually in London.

During the current lockdown in the UK, her attention became focused on her immediate surroundings, symbolising hope in an ever changing world.
